Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is a quiet, atmospheric adventure that pulls you through an abandoned coastal town by lantern light. It's mostly exploration and light puzzle-solving, and the mood carries it. The art is hand-painted and the sound design is excellent with headphones.

There's no combat and no timer, just you, a map, and puzzles woven into the environment. Some are clever, a couple are a bit obtuse, but the game never blocks you for too long. It runs entirely offline.

If you like slow, story-first experiences you can play in bed, this is an easy recommendation. Two to three evenings and you're through it, and it stays with you afterward.
